As part of a thorough investigation into suspected abuse of a promotional offer, we’ve determined that your Perplexity Pro account does not match our records for having obtained the promotion through the intended flow. We´re writing to inform you that your Perplexity Pro subscription has been suspended effective immediately.
A recent audit determined that the promotion applied to your account for a complimentary period of Perplexity Pro was intended solely for customers who activated it through a specific redemption process as part of a limited partner promotion.
While we hope you´ve enjoyed using Perplexity´s Pro features during your subscription period, our usage terms require it to be disabled. Therefore, Pro access has been turned off for your account as of today, no further charges will be made.
Under Section 11.3 (“Termination of License and Your Account”) of Perplexity’s Terms of Service, we may suspend or disable accounts that breach promotional or usage terms.
What happens next?
Your account has automatically reverted to our free plan, available to all users.
You can upgrade to Perplexity Pro at the standard paid subscription rate anytime from your Settings page.
If you redeemed the offer through the legitimate redemption path, contact support@perplexity.ai with ALL of the following proof:
A purchase receipt or invoice from an authorized retailer for your Samsung device.
A single video that, in one continuous recording, shows: The Samsung offer as it appears in your Galaxy Store or Samsung Members app. Your device’s activation details from the "About Phone" section in Settings.
