A new grim threat looms over the Central Kingdom. Borders protected by cruel knights of the king are no longer secure. Terrible clans of orcs, more than ever, hide on all roads. The proud nomadic peoples of the steppes are on their guard, for strange beasts roam in darkness. Even the thick dwarfs hidden in their subterranean palaces don´t seem immune to the threat - from the unknown tunnels of their mines, a filthy army of hideous creatures is advancing inexorably.
Chaos takes over the World. Only the memory of the oldest recalls the exploits of the hero and the few warriors who at other times fought against the forces of Chaos. Ianna, the mother of all living beings, gave the hero a powerful sword to enter the abyss and defeat evil. But it happened a long time ago. We need a new hero, chosen, who deserves to own the Sword and destroy the enemy... this time for good.

RE-RELEASE OF A REAL GENRE GAME
We´re excited to bring Blade of Darkness back to life, a stalwart classic that at the time of release inspired many action-adventure games with its approach to combat. In this release, we redesigned the game to run on modern PC hardware, added widescreen support up to 4K resolution, introduced new display settings, and improved its overall stability. At the same time, the gameplay, content and history are intact - depicting all the quirks and charm of the game.
