MTProto is Telegram´s proprietary transport protocol.
A dedicated proxy server, MTProxy, has been created to work with it. It understands this protocol and can communicate with Telegram clients in their native language. The principle is simple: instead of connecting directly to Telegram servers, the client connects through an intermediary node—the proxy server. According to Telegram´s official documentation, this connection maintains full traffic encryption. Furthermore, MTProxy masks the connection´s identity, making it more difficult for filtering systems to detect that the user is accessing Telegram.
Note: The MTProto proxy only works with Telegram. If you need a proxy for other purposes, use the Elite HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy from our product range.
