Iron Lung is a short submarine horror game based on horror, from the developer of DUSK, The Moon Sliver, and Squirrel Stapler.
Decades ago, all known stars and habitable planets mysteriously vanished, along with whatever they contained, leaving behind a barren universe of asteroids and lifeless moons, where the only remnants of humanity were those aboard space stations or starships at the time. As supplies gradually dwindled and infrastructure fell into disrepair, the survivors spent the ensuing years desperately searching for any trace of remaining natural resources. So far, they´ve been unsuccessful...
Then a mysterious anomaly known as the Blood Ocean (exactly what it sounds like) was discovered on the desolate moon. It´s not the first Blood Ocean discovered since the disappearance, but initial scans revealed a cluster of potentially useful anomalies in a deep underwater (subroof?) trench that require further exploration.
And you, the unlucky fool, are tasked with conducting the investigation in an old submarine cobbled together from rusted space station parts.
Find your way to the marked locations, photograph everything you find there, and try to finish before the submarine collapses on you... or you´re discovered by whatever´s lurking in the blood...
