In the Tropico 6 "Going Viral" DLC, your task is to ensure the health of the nation as a virus spreads across the island! And the glorious President is a key figure who will control the masses with diplomatic skills and new items, such as the Mobile Doctor Squad, the Medical Checkpoint, the Colossal Hospital, and the Healing Mortar.
So, your goal is to find a cure and stop the panic among the Tropicans at any cost. Or... should you first use it for the well-being of... ahem... the entire Tropican nation? It´s worth at least considering, because panic can provide new opportunities to control your subjects and influence the masses. But a good president must remember that dead citizens can´t vote!
◼️ FIND THE CURE IN TROPICO 6: GOING VIRAL: Four different diseases are spreading across the island of Tropico, disrupting the calm of life. Some diseases can significantly affect citizens, while others may be just a cold *cough*.
◼️ PULL THE STRINGS AND MAINTAIN CONTROL in a four-mission campaign or battle the diseases on a new map in multiplayer mode.
◼️ KEEP CALM... OR GIVE IN TO PANIC! Influence the masses with the new Panic mechanic. The Panic meter shows how Tropico´s citizens feel about the diseases. The higher the Panic, the more serious the decrees. Choose: spread panic and exploit it for your own gain, or calm the population facing a potentially deadly threat?
◼️ VACCINATE, ASK QUESTIONS LATER. The greater the panic, the sooner you´ll unlock 16 amazing new edicts that can be used to exploit the disease on Tropico. Force everyone to be vaccinated, force the population to wear masks, or throw a viral party in the palace—the choice is yours, El Presidente!
◼️ MANAGE THE DISEASE: 9 new buildings will transform life on Tropico and provide new ways to manage the infestation. Use the HEALING MORTAR to quickly spread the cure across Tropico, or build a new COLOSSAL HOSPITAL to accommodate all the sick. And MEDICAL CHECKPOINTS will help you find the infected!
