The Witcher: Enhanced Edition takes all the highly acclaimed gameplay mechanics that earned the original game over 90 awards and enhances them with a range of gameplay and technical improvements.
Improved Dialogue and Cutscenes – The developers re-recorded and re-wrote over 5,000 lines of English dialogue and completely reworked the German version to create a more cohesive gaming experience. They also added over 200 gesture animations to make characters behave more realistically in dialogue and cutscenes.
Improved Inventory – The new inventory system simplifies the use and organization of items, introducing a separate bag for alchemical ingredients, as well as a simple sorting and stacking function. Spend less time managing your inventory and more time playing.
Technical Improvements – It´s impossible to list all the technical improvements to the game, but key ones include significantly reduced loading times, increased stability, improved combat responsiveness, faster inventory loading, the ability to enable or disable autosave, and much more.
Character Differentiation System — To add more variety to the appearance of NPCs and monsters, we´ve added a new character differentiation system that randomly changes the appearance and colors of dozens of in-game models.
