⚙️ Slice EQ is a parametric equalizer from effects developer KiloHearts. Released in 2017 as the second in a duo of EQ plugins after Carve EQ.
📦 Some features of Slice EQ:
1️⃣ Up to 32 filters. Each filter automatically sets the appropriate type (high cut, low cut, peak, notch, high shelf, or low shelf) for the point on the curve where it´s applied. For example, low cut is below 30 Hz.
2️⃣ Editing filter frequencies, resonances, and rolloff slopes. This can be done by dragging nodes or adjusting them using the GUI handles in the pop-up filter panel. Rolloff slopes range from 6 dB/octave to a sharp 96 dB/octave.
3️⃣ Stereo and mid-range modes. Linked or independent left/right or mid/side channel processing is available.
5️⃣ Graphic editor – describes the mouse pointer position in musical notation, as well as in Hz and kHz frequencies. 6️⃣ Built-in linking system – allows you to overlay a spectrum analyzer with a reference curve from a genre-based preset library, live sidechain input, or any imported audio file.
