You wake up in a base on a new, unexplored planet. Your dropship is in pieces, your gear scattered. Why are you here? What is your mission? How will you get home to your family?

Corps of Discovery is a thought-provoking first-person planetary exploration game set on six uncharted planets. As a player, you know only one thing: to return home, you must complete the mission assigned to the Corps of Discovery. However, after completing each mission, you are left with unanswered questions and no answers.

Gameplay

Experienced in extreme and harsh conditions, such as violent storms and oppressive heat, you must maintain your resolve as you complete missions for the Corps of Discovery. You will meet AVA, a companion bot who will accompany you on your journey and constantly remind you of your importance to the Corps. However, you have only one goal: to return home to your loved ones.

Corpse of Discovery examines our lives under a symbolic microscope and examines the inner workings of the choices we make, ultimately culminating in the crucial question: "What sacrifices will we make to be successful?" As you struggle to complete each Corps mission, you are forced to grapple with your humanity, who you are as a parent, spouse, employee, and person.
