Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected and incredible return from series creator Ron Gilbert, continuing the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island: LeChuck´s Revenge, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Many years have passed since the final battle between Guybrush Threepwood and his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. The love of his life, Elaine Marley, has retired from her duties as governor, and Guybrush himself has never solved the Secret of Monkey Island and is simply adrift. New young pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, have ousted the old guard, affairs on Massacre Island are deteriorating, and the famous businessman Stan has been jailed for "advertising crimes."

Have fun with old friends and new characters, but don´t forget that the familiar islands have become much more dangerous under the new leadership. Set sail for the open seas and explore new, uncharted places. On his path to glory, Guybrush will encounter devious enemy plots, tricky puzzles, and a host of hilarious situations.

Wander the (mostly) friendly landscapes of Massacre Island, a familiar place where a new government has taken over, squeezing out both old friends and new characters.
