Ivalice, illuminated by the light of the gods, was ruled by the Two-Headed Lion. But a year after the defeat in the Fifty Years´ War with Ordalia, he fell seriously ill and passed the throne to his two-year-old heir.
Two rivals, the Dukes of Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion, lay claim to the role of regent. Their clash will go down in history as the War of the Lions.
It is during this period that Ramza, the third son of the House of Beoulve, one of the leading military dynasties of Ivalice, enters the scene. He is accompanied by a childhood friend named Delita, a commoner who grew up among the aristocracy. They try to continue their course through a turbulent era, but the tide of history inexorably carries them closer to the abyss.
- Combat System
Command your squad in exciting battles, the outcome of which depends on the correct choice of positions and strategic planning. Take advantage of the terrain on 3D battlefields, skillfully manipulate the order of turns - and victory will be yours.
- Character development and customization
Create your own strategies, experimenting with a variety of professions and abilities.
As your squad members gain experience, they gain access to new professions with unique abilities. Each ability mastered by the character remains with him even after he changes his occupation. In total, more than 20 professions are available in the game. Experiment with hundreds of abilities they give you to find combinations that work best for your squad. In addition, you will be able to tame and take chocobos and other creatures into battle.
- Two versions: Enhanced and Classic
The Enhanced version, with its modern graphics, fully voiced dialogues and reworked gameplay, is ideal for your first acquaintance with the world of Ivalice. In addition to refining some features and game mechanics, it includes a reduced difficulty level Squire, designed specifically for beginners.
