** Description of the game **
Player - Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, a witcher. Entangled in the political turmoil that engulfed Temeria, Geralt helped suppress the uprising of the Order of the Flaming Rose. Shortly after, he saved the life of King Foltest when the monarch was attacked by a witcher-like assassin.
He continues to protect the king, acting as his bodyguard, while Foltest strives to bring peace to his kingdom. The last bastions of the Order have fallen to the royal army, but one task remains - Baroness La Valette has declared her secession from the kingdom, and her fortress must be taken. A month after the assassination attempt, Foltest´s army stands at the gates of La Valette Castle, preparing for the final assault. Geralt is still by Foltest´s side, but is unable to begin his own personal quest to discover the origins and identity of the mysterious assassin...
