The Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces. XCOM, the planet´s last line of defense, has been destroyed and scattered across the globe. Now, in XCOM 2, the aliens rule Earth, building glittering cities that promise humanity a bright future on the surface, while hiding a sinister plan and destroying all who disagree with their new order.
Only those living on the edge of the world have some measure of freedom. Here, a force is once again gathering to stand up for humanity. Constantly on the run and facing impossible odds, the remnants of XCOM must find a way to ignite a global resistance and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.

RECRUIT RESISTANCE FIGHTERS: Five soldier classes, each with their own skill tree, allow you to create specific soldiers for your tactical plan.
TACTICAL GUERRILLA COMBAT: New gameplay systems provide greater tactical flexibility in combat. Use stealth to ambush enemy patrols. Loot valuable equipment and artifacts from your enemies. Rescue VIPs and fallen comrades by delivering them to an extraction point.
A NEW GENERATION OF ENEMIES: From powerful new alien races to alien regime enforcers, a variety of enemies present unique tactical challenges.
