*Description of the game
Since the beginning of creation, the COUNCIL has maintained balance throughout the world. Their orders are carried out by the HORSEMEN, the Nephilim (powerful beings who emerged from the unnatural union of angels and demons), who swore allegiance to the Council and gained immense power. However, this power came at a tragic price: the riders were ordered to use their newfound strength to destroy the rest of their species. This was followed by a bloody battle in Eden, in which the Horsemen, obeying the will of the Council, destroyed the Nephilim.
Still reeling from the events in Eden, WAR and STRIFE have been given a new assignment - LUCIFER, the mysterious and deceitful demon king, is plotting to upset the balance by granting power to the demon lords throughout Hell. War and Strife must track down these masters, gather information, and eventually break through a complicated demonic conspiracy that threatens to permanently upset the balance and destroy the entire universe.
DARKSIDERS: GENESIS is an action-adventure game that sweeps its way through hordes of demons, angels, and everything in between on its way to Hell and back, flashing weapons and brandishing swords.
