The car is your only ally in this harsh, dangerous world. But the leather interior alone is not enough to survive on its bumpy roads. Your trusty station wagon will need to be properly upgraded and strengthened, because it will have a hard time. Make sure that the tank is full and the protective panels are free of holes, otherwise the ubiquitous radiation will reach you. You and your car will be tested for durability: repair parts on the go, collect materials and upgrade your fortress on wheels to withstand the dangers lurking in the darkness. Remnants of the mysterious Bureau´s experiments are scattered throughout the Area, and it won´t be easy to find answers among them. Everywhere you will encounter anomalies - paranormal phenomena that will seriously complicate the trip ... or make it much more interesting. Mysterious figures in the dark, moving piles of scrap metal and towering hulks from the ground - each race is fraught with its own otherworldly dangers. But nothing in the Zone can match the destructive power of a storm. Push on the gas with all your might: these crushing whirlwinds sweep away everything in their path. Check the map, grab your gear, and be on your way. Collect resources and information along the way, there will always be something useful in the Zone. After returning to the safety of the garage walls, upgrade the car with what you found. New dangers await outside: bad weather, harsh terrain, and the results of failed experiments. The main rule of the Zone is "those who don´t take risks don´t drink champagne." Some materials can only be found in the most dangerous places.
