Legacy of Persia is a regional struggle inspired by the collapse of the Abbasid Caliphate and the anarchy that reigned in Samarra in the 9th century. Building on the struggle system introduced in Fate of Iberia, Legacy of Persia further deepens the cultural identity of the region and introduces a host of changes to its states.
• Iranian Interlude: The Abbasid Caliphate is in decline and the rulers of Iran seek independence. Will you forge a new empire, bend the weakened Caliphate to your own ends, or help it restore order?
• Historical Flavor: New decisions, interactions, and buildings, plus special content focusing on clans and border defense.
• Changes to Iranian Culture. New Iranian traditions will unlock access to court scholars, unique warriors and new buildings that can bring wealth to the barren lands.
• New design and music. Persian clothing, new building design and interface in the Iranian style! Plus 8 new tracks that create an atmosphere or illustrate events.
