ABOUT THIS GAME
The year is 50 BC. All of Gaul is occupied by the Romans... All? No! One village, inhabited by rebellious Gauls, still resists the invaders. And the garrisons of Roman legionaries in the fortified camps of Babaorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Petitbonum are having a hard time.
Peace reigned in the small Armorican village, where the inhabitants indulged in their usual activities. Our heroes, Asterix and Obelix, hunt wild boar, the blacksmith and the fishmonger quarrel, and the chieftain is carried on a shield around the village square. After a great day of hunting, Asterix and Obelix return to their village to find the houses plundered by the Romans burning! They set out to rescue their fellow villagers, accompanied by their faithful dog Dogmatix. Their journey will take them to Normandy, Greece, Helvetia, Egypt and finally Rome, where they must save the villagers from the clutches of Emperor Caesar...
