Tormented Souls is a modernised version of fixed perspective games. The main character of the game, Caroline Walker, investigates the disappearance of twin girls, moving through a terrible mansion turned into a hospital.
There´s something sinister lurking in Winterlake. Caroline Walker is investigating the disappearance of twin girls, and something terrible happens to her in the process. She woke up in the middle of the night in a bathtub, naked and hooked up to ancient medical devices. Now Caroline has to fight for her life, exploring the corridors of an abandoned mansion.
Returning to classic survival horror, the creators of Tormented Souls do not hide the fact that they were inspired by classic survival horror. From Resident Evil and Silent Hill to Alone in the Dark. Tormented Souls is an upgraded version of fixed perspective games: it has a more modern control scheme and a more dynamic camera, while retaining all the aspects that fans of such games so appreciated.
