The year is 2155, and life on earth has become unstable: the ecological situation is in terrible shape. For the sake of survival, people are forced to transfer their souls into a robotic body developed by a large neurotechnology company ION. After an unexpected accident, the main character of L-064N wakes up in one of the robotic bodies, not remembering anything, but with the only information that ION saves him in a deplorable state. Now his mind and soul are in the body of an android without the ability to communicate, but with technological functions far beyond those of his human body.
System of Souls is a first-person puzzle platformer. During a series of tests, L-064N learns through Aura, super-advanced AI, ION´s neurotechnological capabilities and the events that led him on his current path. The story seems to be based on a simple explanation, but the player will gradually discover the feelings and experiences of other robotic creatures like him, leading to doubts about the truth that you have been told.
The L-064N will acquire and improve various skills as you progress through search modules that explore different aspects of memory, such as ideas, personality, or feelings. These search modules will allow L-064N to explore and successfully solve various tests modeled and embedded in his psyche by Aura. By solving
these tests, our protagonist´s neural network will be stimulated, making it easier to restore his memory with the Aura.
