Search Of Light is a steampunk adventure set in a dark fantasy setting and combines resource management and narrative mechanics, which we define as adventure management.
The player will enter the story from the perspective of an Alien, a mysterious character who must climb the dungeon levels to uncover the mystery hidden on the surface. And he must do this, relying solely on his own ingenuity and the help of domestic robots, which are still working as assistants for the remaining inhabitants of the dungeon.
Thanks to the combination of mechanics and setting, SOL claims to be one of those games that will undoubtedly appeal to players who love storytelling and always take care of the complex aspects of video game play. Creating an immersive experience that takes the player further than just entertainment.
The adventure begins in an abandoned village in an underground space, where an Alien discovers his ability to reactivate mechanical elements to protect the village from enemies.
To advance in the adventure, the player will have to explore the dark environment outside the village to get new items that will allow him to expand the village´s capabilities, improve weapons and defend against enemies that attack every "night". Thus, he will discover the plot until he reaches the surface.
