2. A 0.5462 g sample of the alloy was dissolved in hydrochloric acid. Magnesium was precipitated from the solution with sodium hydrogen phosphate in the presence of ammonia. The resulting precipitate, after washing, was dissolved in 45 ml of a 0.2141 N hydrochloric acid solution. The remainder of the acid was titrated against methyl orange with 14.25 ml of sodium hydroxide solution (20 ml of hydrochloric acid is equivalent to 21.34 ml of sodium hydroxide). Calculate the percentage content of magnesium in the alloy.
