The Ball is a first—person adventure action game featuring unusual gameplay and using an engine from Epic, Unreal™ Engine 3. You get stuck in a cave as a brave archaeologist working on the slopes of an extinct volcano somewhere in Mexico. It quickly dawns on you that this is not just a cave. You discover ancient ruins that have been hidden from outsiders for centuries, and find a mysterious artifact — a ball encased in a shell of gold and metal. As you move forward and solve the mystery of this amazing place, you must uncover the secrets of the Ball and learn how to control this ancient artifact. As you dig deeper and deeper, you uncover some of humanity´s greatest mysteries, and not only puzzles and traps stand in your way, but also a variety of strange creatures that keep secrets. You must defeat these creatures using only the Ball as your only weapon.
