Escape String is a 2D puzzle game that takes place in an undefined location and time. A small humanoid robot wakes up among the debris of a garbage dump inside a large factory.He receives strange and mysterious messages from someone who clearly wants to help him. The robot´s goal is to explore the large factory where it is located in search of answers about who it is and its mysterious remote assistant.
The player does not control the robot directly and in real time, but inserts movement commands above its display to tell the robot when it´s time to jump, squat, etc.So it´s a perspective-based puzzle game: the player has to calculate the distance between the robot and the obstacles. The obstacles are initially completely static, but as you progress, they will become more and more dynamic and diverse.
For example, we will have security robots that will perform the same actions as our robot, mirrored. There are currently 40 levels with 8 types of obstacles.The real task will be to complete the level with the minimum possible number of instructions (input) and enter these commands in one line (line). Completing the level while meeting these conditions will unlock the "gold chip" of that particular level.
