Dark Thrones is an endless 2D runner game. You play as "Dark," a killer on his final run to save himself and protect those he loves from the legions of undead atop the endless wall.
Jump over and slide under various obstacles. Do not spare every last persistent enemy standing in your way to increase your score by collecting coins to upgrade power-ups scattered all over the wall.
The game supports two game methods, from which the user can choose to control the Dark:
Gesture Control Using the PS4 DualShock controller, the player can use motion gestures with the controller to jump in the dark and dive under obstacles. The X button is used to wield the sword.
Joystick/Crosshair Aiming Using the PS4 DualShock controller, the player can use the L/R or D-Pad joysticks to make the darkness bounce or dive between obstacles.
The Shopkeeper collects coins that allow him to buy upgrades in the in-game store. These improvements help progress against the trophies.
