In Old World - Heroes of the Aegean, you can feel like a great commander of Ancient Greece. You will lead Athens and lead them to victory in the Battle of Marathon, together with King Leonidas and 300 Spartans defend Greece from the Persian invasion in the famous Battle of Thermopylae, and as Alexander the Great conquer the entire ancient world. You will find many scenarios covering more than 200 years of ancient history.

Heroes of the Aegean features six free historical scenarios with unique characters and objectives:

Repel the first Persian invasion. Lead Athens and defeat the army of the Persian king Darius I. In this scenario, you will witness the legendary Battle of Marathon and the feat of the Greek warrior Pheidippides, who went to Sparta for help.
Defend Greece in a dynamic scenario where the outcome of the campaign depends on your success. As King Leonidas, take part in the Battle of Thermopylae and hold off the army of Xerxes for as long as you can, engage the Persian fleet in the Battle of Salamis and drive the invaders from your land, winning the legendary Battle of Plataea.
The Macedonian invasion and the conquest of Greece. As King Philip II, fight for the survival of your state against superior enemies and transform Macedonia from a weak kingdom into the political center of all Greece.
A tale of knights of the cloak and dagger. As Queen Olympias, widow of the recently assassinated King Philip, keep the empire from falling apart and place Alexander the Great on the throne before his rivals seize power.
Conquer the ancient world. As Alexander the Great, expand the borders of the Macedonian kingdom by conquering neighboring states and participating in the legendary siege of Tyre, the capture of Gaza, and the Battle of the Persian Gates.
Wars of the Diadochi. As one of Alexander the Great´s generals, take part in internecine wars on the territory of the kingdom that fell apart after the death of the emperor. Former allies became enemies. Defeat them and claim the territories that were once part of the Macedonian kingdom.
In addition, in "Heroes of the Aegean" the Hittite civilization will be available in the main campaign, led by the warlike king Hattusili I. The main trump card of the Hittites is their fast and very dangerous chariots, which can hold three warriors, as well as a constitutional monarchy, which gives them additional social capital. In addition, all Hittite warriors, accustomed to the harsh landscapes of Anatolia, can cross hills without penalties to speed and range, and also cut down forests.
