BookyPets Legends is a video game about adventure, exploration and collecting, created to encourage reading among children from 7 to 12 years old in an easy and fun way.
BookyPets Legends takes children to the other side of the universe, to the magical kingdom of Imaginatios, which is inhabited by all the heroes of fairy tales and magical creatures with wings shaped like books - BookyPets!
The game is to free the BookyPets who are trapped by three evil monsters (Fear, Laziness, and Selfishness) by reading hundreds of proverbs, fables, fairy tales, legends, and children´s novels to get the keys and unlock the cages they are locked in. They will be assisted by numerous fairy-tale characters, although some of them will also try to interfere with the task!
BookyPets seamlessly integrates reading into the gameplay and narrative of a video game to introduce children to reading. Now reading and playing will become one.
