attentionLarry Laffer is a short, tasteless, balding forty-year-old man who until recently lived with his mother. He used to work in software, but decided to quit everything, moving to the city of Lost Wages in search of sexual satisfaction. Dressed in a white polyester lounge suit, Larry finds himself at Lefty´s Bar, determined to finally lose his virginity - or commit suicide if he cannot achieve this goal before dawn. Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is the first game in Al Lowe´s Leisure Suit Larry series, heavily inspired by the text adventure Softporn Adventure, albeit with a much-improved script that features more humorous descriptions and dialogue. A text parser is used to enter commands to interact with the graphical environment. Progress is achieved by collecting various items and figuring out which ones might be necessary to win the hearts of the several female characters that appear in the game.
