Whistleblower invites you to play as Waylon Park, a software engineer working under contract with Murkoff. At the beginning of the events of Outlast, he sent emails to journalists around the world, including Miles.
After weeks spent in Mount Massive, unable to even speak to his wife and son due to strict security protocols, Waylon became deeply distrustful of the profit-driven scientists and doctors who conducted dangerous and irresponsible experiments on their patients. Identifying with these unfortunate people only deepened Waylon´s anger and paved the way for the revelation of Mount Massive´s true nature.
While Whistleblower tells the story that led to Outlast, it extends beyond the events of the first game and represents the final chapter of Mount Massive´s history.
