You will have to live by prison rules, attend roll call, do prison work and follow strict routines; all the while secretly plot your bid for freedom!
Your escapades from prison will take you from the frosty Tundra Fort, a train racing through the desert, and even to the last frontier!
Assemble an escape team!

Team up with three friends to create the best escape team and organize the wildest escapes! Connect to the network or gather on the couch to prepare for your treacherous adventures. Working together, you will be able to create even more complex and daring plans.
Do you feel the competition? Immerse yourself in the confrontation mode and show that you have the skills to escape from any prison faster than your friends can do it. If all else fails, settle your rivalry in the yard with a prison punch!
Create YOUR OWN scammer!
It´s time to make your prisoner truly yours. Choose from a huge variety of settings to make your character unique. When planning an escape, it is important to look stylish.
Create your escape!
Being in prison forces you to be creative and work with the limited tools at your disposal. You will have to combine everyday items such as soap and socks to create new weapons and tools that will help you achieve your goal. Steal forks from the cafeteria to tunnel through your room, and make a poster out of magazines and duct tape to hide the evidence. You´ll soon find out that duct tape solves (almost) everything!
Get ready to fight!
The Escapists 2 introduces a completely new combat system that will make every prison fight more exciting and interactive. You will have to block and link together chains of attacks while firing at fixed targets to gain the upper hand in battle. Be sure to visit the gym first to build up your muscles!
New ways to escape!
As prisons get tougher, you´ll have to be more creative in your escape plans. There are many ways to escape from almost any prison.
Build a wedge!
With the help of the prison map editor, it´s your turn to build a prison worthy of housing the harshest prisoners! It includes all the rooms, fences and guard dogs that you will need to build a prison as complex as possible in your imagination – without duct tape.
You can take these prison blueprints and start creating your own creations through the Custom Prisons option in the main menu, and when you´re ready, you can show the world by sharing them through the Steam Workshop, where you can download, subscribe to fellow architect prisons - you can play on all custom maps. either alone or in local and online multiplayer mode!
