Two parallel and identically directed forces F1 and F2 are applied to a rigid body. Prove that: a) the modulus of the resultant force is equal to the sum of the moduli of the summand forces; b) the resultant is parallel to the summand forces and directed in the same direction; c) the resultant passes through the center of parallel forces, i.e. through a point that divides the distance between the points of application of the added forces into segments inversely proportional to the moduli of these forces.
