Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter and action-adventure computer game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth main game in the series of the same name. The action takes place in the fictional tropical country of Yara, and tells the story of the confrontation between the protagonist (or heroine) of the local resistance named Dani Rojas and the brutal dictator Anton Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). The creators were inspired by the actions of the Cuban guerrillas. On the official website, Far Cry 6 is called a political game, the plot of which tells about a modern revolution[5]. The game was released on October 7, 2021 for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
