There is a two-wire line made of an ideal conductor (without heat losses). One pair of ends of the line is connected to a DC generator, the other to some resistance (load). Show that in this case the Poynting vector S in the space between the wires is directed along the wires from the generator to the load. How will the picture change if we take into account the resistance of the wires?
