A light rod rotates with angular velocity w0 by inertia around an axis perpendicular to it and passing through its middle. A heavy coupling of mass m can move along the rod without friction, which is held by an inextensible thread thrown over a block (figure). Determine the law of change in the angular velocity of the system as the coupling is pulled towards the axis of rotation, the law of change in the tension force of the thread and the work of pulling the coupling from radius R0 to radius R0/2.
