"To start thinking is to start undermining yourself," Albert Camus wrote, and it´s hard not to agree with this. To make sense of your life means to knock yourself down, stop, start sorting through your experience, discard the superfluous and unnecessary, destroy the old in the hope of constructing a new one, in other words, to undermine. It is also impossible not to note the severity of this word, since this action is associated with pain, loss, the need to choose difficult routes, sometimes to take risks in order not to make new mistakes and not to break from the set path. But is it worth enduring this pain? What happens if you just go with the flow? How will our life turn out then?


The French philosopher Albert Camus asked similar questions in his famous essay "The Myth of Sisyphus". In a short summary, the ancient Greek myth sounds like this: for excessive arrogance and resourcefulness, the Gods sentenced Sisyphus to roll a huge stone to the top of the mountain forever, which constantly fell and had to start all over again. It would seem that what could be worse than this useless work?
What does Sisyphus think about, climbing to the top of the mountain? And what do we care about him?
