30. Give the reaction equations for the quantitative determination of glutamic acid (Mg 147.13) in tablets by alkalimetry.
A. Calculate the molar mass of the equivalent, the titer for the analyte, a weighed portion of the powder of crushed tablets of glutamic acid, 0.25 g each, so that 10 ml of 0.1 mol/l sodium hydroxide solution (K = 0.99) is used for titration. The weight of one tablet is 0.503 g.
b. Calculate the content of glutamic acid in one tablet, if 16.6 ml of 0.1 mol/l sodium hydroxide solution (K = 1.02) was used to titrate the powder of one crushed tablet.
