Determine the direction of the chemical reaction flowing in a gas medium of a given composition. The partial pressures of the components of the gas mixture are given in Table 4.
Analyze the results and answer the following questions:
1. What substances - initial or reaction products - will be more in an equilibrium mixture?
2. What do the phrases mean: “the equilibrium is shifted towards the starting substances” and “the equilibrium is shifted towards the reaction products”?
