The dimensional sphere promised wealth and knowledge beyond the wildest dreams of mankind, and was hidden from everyone until it was discovered and brought to the king. Being a man, the king easily succumbed to temptation, and for a while the promise was fulfilled. Thanks to the Orb, riches, knowledge and incredible stories flowed into the kingdom ... but then monsters appeared.
Lots and lots of monsters.

Monster Outbreak is a top-down pixel survival game. Take control of Yulia, the last surviving member of the royal guard, and begin to confront the endless hordes of monsters spawned out of control of the Orb. Equip yourself, prepare defenses, set traps, cook all kinds of food and try to stay alive.

Complete the game solo - or hire fellow survivors using classic local split-screen or online multiplayer.

The last actions of the royal guard are not over - not yet.

Key features:

Julia has access to a wide range of enchanted weapons, from simple swords and axes to complex bows with elemental attacks that deal extra damage and unlock new ways to hold back endless waves of enemies.
Build a defense! Choose from dozens of turrets including a bomb launcher, crossbow turret and bomb slingshot to create deadly defensive zones.
Hold back hordes of dimensional horrors with traps including spikes, wire bombs, and elemental traps.
If the fortress stands ("If"), send Julia into battle outside the containment and fight the hordes of monsters.

Every wave eventually subsides. Use the lull in combat to repair your base - or set out to explore, repair bridges, and ransack an abandoned kingdom.
Hunt monsters in search of the necessary components to create weapons and items to increase your chances of survival - but beware of brutal bosses who may decide to destroy your party at the most inopportune moment.
