The tyrant has arrived in Tiberias, promising a paradise free from war, suffering... and death. All that was required of the inhabitants of Tiberias to enter his paradise was to die at the hands of his Army of the Dead. The war ended before it began, and thousands died at the hands of the Titan, only to become his immortal puppets bound by magical bonds. The few warriors that remain are scattered across what is left of their homeland, and are in constant search of a way to defeat the Tyrant. Lead a great Rebellion, defeat the Army of the Dead and send the monstrous overlord back to the depths of the sea from which he came. Tyrant´s Blessing is a tactical turn-based game where your ability to plan, adapt and strategize will be much more important than accumulating units or creating the most powerful sword. Choose your battles, make difficult decisions, and use the strengths of a variety of rebels to defeat the undead horde and perhaps - only possibly - return life to Tiberia.
Every day is a fight for survival
Before you can challenge the Tyrant, you need to live long enough to take back the Island.
Decide whether to fight, save the survivors from the undead, or gain strength. Every decision counts for every day of the Rebellion.
In your battles throughout Tiberia, you will encounter random encounters that offer difficult decisions. Intervene and fight the bandits at the risk of your warriors? Save a child at the risk of wasting precious time and resources? The answer depends only on your morals and principles.
Carefully assemble your heroic squad. Skrieg, the Rebellion´s oldest wizard and advisor, can only teleport three heroes and one pet at a time. Should you send your best warriors? Or newcomers to gain experience in combat? Are they strong enough? Will you deal with the consequences?
Any battle is the risk of not winning the Tyrant without destroying his Undead army. However, victory cannot be achieved by headlong rushing at the enemy.
Analyze battles and make a plan. Place warriors around the battlefield to gain a strategic advantage. Pay special attention to the environment: use the dust under your feet to blind your enemies, jump onto rocks or jump into bushes to avoid enemy attacks.
Keep an eye on the enemy, because any attack can be predicted, but be careful - if you just move away, a shadow will remain behind you. This character spirit can be attacked if the attack cannot be avoided...
Push enemies out of your way and hit them against obstacles, protect weaker characters with those who can take damage, and enhance elemental attacks with the help of the environment. Brute strength can work, but try to fight smarter - not harder.
New day - new risks Each hero has his own character, properties and abilities. Who will you send into battle?
Recruit twenty glorious heroes, each with a unique set of abilities that can drastically change the course of the battle.
But be careful: Not all heroes will appear in every playthrough - and not all of them will live to see the final battle.
Gather a squad according to your goal. The killer will be more useful in cramped conditions, while it will only hurt the archer. Some heroes fight together with their pets, which can make a decisive contribution to the outcome of the battle.
Even fallen heroes can be freed from the Tyrant´s grasp. Hunt them down, defeat them in battle and give them back their stolen life!
