631. For the chromatographic determination of nickel on paper impregnated with dimethylglyoxime solution, three standard solutions were prepared. To do this, a sample (g) of NiCl2∙6H2O was dissolved in a 50.00 cm3 volumetric flask. Then 5.00 was taken from this flask; 10.00 and 20.00 cm3 and diluted in flasks to 50.00 cm3. The test solution was also diluted in a volumetric flask by 50.00 cm3.
Construct a calibration graph in the h-CNi coordinates and determine the nickel content (mg) in the test solution if the peak height of the standard solutions is h1, h2 and h3, and the peak height of the test solution is hX (Table 40).
