1. Cadmium and zinc contained in 1.05 g of ore were isolated on a mercury cathode from an ammonia solution. At a cathode potential of 0.95 V (relative to a saturated calomel electrode), only cadmium is released, and during this time, 44.6 ml of gas was released in the hydrogen-oxygen coulombmeter at t = 21 C and 773 mm Hg. Then the potential was raised to -1.3 V and Zn was restored. In this case, an additional 31.3 ml of gas was released under the same conditions. Calculate the percentage of Zn and Cd in the ore.
