A portion of 0.1000 g of powdered tablets containing amidopyrine and caffeine was dissolved in dilute sulfuric acid and 100 ml of the analyzed solution was obtained. 2 ml of this solution was taken, 98 ml of dilute sulfuric acid was added to it and 100 ml of the measured solution was obtained. Optical density A of the measured solution was determined on a spectrophotometer in a cuvette with an absorbing layer thickness l=1 cm at two wavelengths λ1=255 nm and λ2=272 nm and found A255=0.646 and A272=0.430.
Using the law of additivity of optical density, calculate the content of amidopyrine and caffeine in mg per one tablet weighing 0.4100 g, if the specific extinction coefficients of amidopyrine and caffeine in solution are equal, respectively: at a wavelength of 255 nm - 390 and 245; at a wavelength of 272 nm - 205 and 490.
Answer: 307 mg; 51 mg.
