514. Solutions of hexyltrimethylammonium bromide (molecular weight 364.44) in the presence of 0.025 mol/l KBr were studied by osmometry at 30 °C using a membrane permeable to water, but impermeable to surfactants. The solvent chamber contained a solution with a constant surfactant concentration somewhat higher than the CMC, while a surfactant with a variable concentration exceeding the concentration in the solvent chamber by Δc was placed in the solution chamber. Using the data obtained, determine the molar mass of micelles and the number of molecules in the composition of micelles (aggregation number):
Δc, g/L 4.0 9.0 14.0 19.0
π kPa 0.167 0.144 0.804 1.233
