ABOUT THE GAME:
The campaign, unlike the previous game, is not so clearly divided into playing for the Autobots and Decepticons, but is a single storyline of 13 chapters, 6 of which belong to the Autobots, 5.5 Decepticons, 1.5 Dinobots. There is no longer a choice of three characters for each mission, the playable character is strictly predetermined. The passage of the campaign is hard-coded, and the player is not given any choice, both influencing the plot and how to achieve the goal, but this is compensated by the rich plot, game dialogues and special effects.

In the multiplayer game mode, you can create your own transformers. Game types: "Team game", "Headhunter", "Capture the flag", "Defense of the "node" (base)". Also in this mode, new abilities, cards and even characters appear (and to open them, you just need to accumulate “money” - energon - in multiplayer battles and buy new parts to create a character; they can be combined as you like when creating your transformer, you can also change color and voice). Transformers are divided into classes, as in the previous game (Scientist, Scout, Destroyer and Titan). A character can carry any type of weapon appropriate to his class. Weapons are also divided into two classes - normal and heavy. To get new abilities, weapons and all the upgrades available to them, you will have to earn experience - to destroy opponents or pass tests available to classes. Also, unlike the previous game, special abilities for vehicles are not available in multiplayer (tanks cannot turn 180 degrees, aircraft cannot roll, etc.).

Escalation is one of the most interesting game modes: you can’t create characters, but you can play as Autobots or Decepticons (there is a strict binding, which faction is available on which map) and as one of the four characters offered for each map. You cannot play with your own transformer or choose a transformer in excess of the four proposed. In the game, the allies are people, the enemies are the computer. Ordinary soldiers will attack you, but with each wave they will become stronger and stronger. The number of waves is 15. You can heal, replenish ammunition, buy weapons and upgrades by spending in-game "money" - energy particles.

Arcee and Slipstream from the previous game are not available in any of the modes.
