Task number 2
Ivanov and Vasiliev together bought two tickets for the cash lottery and agreed to split the winnings if it falls on one of the tickets or on both tickets. Vasiliev took the tickets. Subsequently, it turned out that one of the tickets won a prize - a washing machine, which Vasiliev received. Ivanov demanded that Vasiliev either pay him an amount equal to half the cost of the washing machine, or hand over the washing machine. In the latter case, he assumed the obligation to pay Vasiliev an amount equal to half the cost of the washing machine. Vasiliev refused to share the winnings, citing Ivanov´s lack of any rights to win, in view of the fact that the Civil Code does not provide for such agreements.
Did Vasiliev do the right thing? What norm of civil law is applied in this case?

Task number 3
Arkhipov agreed with his friend Khlebosolov, a pop artist, that he would gather colleagues at his home who would like to listen to pop songs performed by Khlebosolov at home. However, an hour before the appointed time, Khlebosolov phoned Arkhipov and said that he would not come, as he decided to stay at home to watch a football match on TV. The scheduled event had to be canceled.
Arkhipov believes that Khlebosolov is obliged to reimburse him for all the costs associated with the preparation of the meeting (the cost of the food and drinks he bought), as well as compensate for moral damage.
Does Arkhipov have legal grounds for making such a claim against Khlebosolov? Justify the answer with references to the norms of the law

Task number 4
Kirillova, leaving on vacation, asked his neighbor Nikolayev to look after his house. The latter agreed. A few days after Kirillov´s departure, his house was badly damaged as a result of the hurricane: the television antenna was knocked down, the roof moved, and the windows were shattered. There was also a lot of destruction inside the house. After the hurricane had died down, Nikolaev set about putting the neighbor´s house in order. He installed the antenna, put glass in the windows, fixed the roof and tidied up the inside of the house. Upon Kirillov´s return, Nikolayev asked to reimburse him for the expenses incurred by him in connection with the elimination of the consequences of the hurricane in Kirillov´s house. The latter did not agree with this, since he only asked Nikolayev to look after the house, but did not instruct him to carry out any repair work.
In addition, this year Kirillov is going to overhaul the house, and he will have to redo everything.
Who is right in this dispute? Justify your answer with references to the norms of the current legislation.
