The new chapter pack for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS places the fate of China in your hands. Lead Yuan Shao´s mighty army or stop him as Cao Cao. Ambitious goals cannot be achieved without a prudent strategy!
In the Fates Divided chapter set, the story begins in 200 CE. e. Yuan Shao and Cao Cao, childhood friends, find themselves at a crossroads. These powerful princes have been wary of each other´s growing ambitions for many years, and Yuan Shao´s patience is running out. Soon they will become mortal enemies.
Fates Divided makes major changes to a number of game mechanics, adds another faction and new units to the game, and also offers updated playstyles for old factions.
New start date
By 200 A.D. e. the main characters of our drama have become powerful and influential sovereigns. Now you can lead Cao Cao´s campaigns of conquest - or lead Yuan Shao´s great army to crush a former comrade.
Although the new story is centered on the struggle between the princes of the north, you can also play as other heroes, fulfilling the ambitious plans of Liu Bei or Ma Teng.
New multi-generation faction
Liu Yan is a cunning strategist and an ambitious ruler, eager to create a sustainable future for his family. Use the special aspiration mechanic to successfully transfer power to Liu Zhang, who will be able to multiply the success of his father, or watch as Liu Yan´s hopes turn into dust.
Various new units
Fates Divided features a host of new units for the armies of Cao Cao, Yuan Shao and Liu Yan, as well as the ability to recruit the elite units of the Northern Army.
