In the new part of the Viking Brothers game, the action takes place mainly in Midgard. After the victory over the Atlanteans, very little time passed in peace, but suddenly a new attack fell upon the Human World. Overnight, nature suddenly changed beyond recognition. All the plants have withered, the foliage on the trees has withered, and the wild boars run from the forest to closer to the people. The Vikings go to the forest to find out what happened, and find there a huge crack in the ground and a winged monster, a wyvern, which has already built a nest and clearly intends to settle here.

For help, the Vikings turn to the gods, who themselves do not know what happened. In search of answers, the brothers will have to meet the Great Serpent Jormungand, who encircles the whole earth with his body. And then collect fragments of magic gems to stop the destruction of the world.
Unlike previous games in the series, here the Vikings brothers act as the main saviors of the world. The help of the gods to the heroes is minimal, and Loki does, out of old memory, help somewhere, and somewhere even interferes. But the Vikings now have a magic altar, where for rather modest donations you can strengthen one or both brothers or get an additional worker.

In the game, you will meet old and new characters. These are the gods, the keeper of Atlantis, titans, giants, pirates, witches and, of course, the reckless dwarf Larrim, who in every part of the game gets into some kind of trouble. There are not many new characters, but they are pretty solid. For example, vicious wyverns are so powerful that they can only be defeated by the Altar-enhanced Evarand, and their nests can only be destroyed by the reinforced Boromir.

The game traditionally has three modes of passage: easy, with no time limit, for those who like a leisurely leisurely game, medium, with standard time, and difficult, in which you have to very carefully calculate your actions.
