The company Daedalic Entertainment, also known as “Lucasarts from Germany” according to GameStar magazine, invites players to plunge into a fantastic comedy adventure, swirling around the incredible love story of Rufus and Gole.

Welcome to the giant landfill called Deponia! Among the vast number of its inhabitants there is one simple, but very wayward guy Rufus, who can not at all reconcile with his miserable fate. Like all other poor people, he is doomed to live the rest of his life, in the truest sense of the word, in a landfill. More than anything, he wants to get into the world of the rich, which is located in the celestial city of Elysium directly above the clouds. And one day, luck smiles at him: a mysterious girl named Gole falls on him directly from heaven. The guy decides to help the beautiful girl go back to her husband. When Rufus realizes that he and her husband are like two drops of water, a diabolical plan is born in his head to make his way to high society. However, not everything goes so smoothly: Rufus can not resist the beauty and charm of a beautiful lady and falls in love with her. Love does incredible things with him, changing our hero for the better right before our eyes.

Help Rufus, the poor guy from the dump, win the heart of a heavenly girl. Only with its help can he get out of Deponia and, unexpectedly for himself, save the planet.
