In accordance with the arbitration clause of the contract, the Russian organization filed a lawsuit against the Italian company in the Russian arbitration court in connection with the shortage of equipment. In the course of the consideration of the dispute, the court established that the defendant was transferred the rights and obligations of the supply contract on the basis of the assignment agreement concluded by him with the other side of the supply contract (seller). Is the Russian arbitration court entitled to consider this dispute? Does the contractual contract on arbitration clause apply to the successor-defendant?
