The Shadow & The Blade is the newest addition to Total War: WARHAMMER II featuring legendary lords. Expect Malus Darkblade and Deathmaster Snikch, each with their own objectives, mechanics, units and playstyles.
• Both charismatic and unique rulers lead their own factions: Malus Darkblade rules Hag Greef and the Dark Elves, and Death Master Snikch rules the Skaven Clan Eshin.
• Each of the legendary lords has their own unique faction mechanics, quests, legendary items, skills and story campaign.
• New powerful units and heroes are now available to the Dark Elves and Skaven.
• The ranks of sadists and warmongers from Hag Gref were replenished with warriors on deadly chariots and Medusa tormented by pain.
• The Skaven rely on cunning cloaking magic, warp weapons, and the famed Clan Eshin Assassins, infantry that stealthily deliver deadly blows.
• New famous troops are ready to rush into battle, capable of chasing and destroying the enemy in either the New or the Old World.
• Both lords are available in the campaign, battle modes and custom battles. Owners of the games Total War: WARHAMMER and Total War: WARHAMMER II have access to a large campaign for free, which also tells the story of the Mortal Empire.
