"The King and the Leader" is the second set of lords for the game Total War: WARHAMMER. Expanding the capabilities of Greenskins and Dwarves, it brings two iconic characters and a range of iconic units from the Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe to campaigns and battles.
Belegar the Iron Hammer, leader of the Angrund clan, inherited a bitter inheritance: his direct ancestor was King Lunn, the last dwarven ruler of the Eight Peaks of Karak. Belegar has vowed to reclaim the throne of this great fortress and is now gathering an army in Karak Izor. By standing against the damned grobi side by side with the spirits of legendary ancestors, he will fulfill his vow and become a legend himself.
Meanwhile, Skarsnik - the leader of the night goblins who captured the Eight Peaks - went to hunt squigs in the Gray Mountains east of Bretonnia. While he was encamped at Karak Azgaraz, news reached him of Belegar´s campaign and, worse still, of a mutiny among his own subjects, who declared him overthrown in absentia. Vile, vile, treacherous bastards!
Two legendary heroes lay claim to one ancient fortress. Their destinies are closely intertwined; one day the king and the leader will meet in a decisive battle for the right to be called the ruler of the Eight Peaks of Karak.
