Metro 2033 is a stunning post-apocalyptic shooter with horror elements, whose plot is entirely based on the events of the novel "Metro 2033." This game was developed by former GSC studio members, who later founded their own studio, 4A Games. The game´s plot takes the player to an abandoned Moscow metro. A nuclear disaster forced people to move from the surface underground. Many died, but some survived. Having successfully established themselves underground, humans gradually began to emerge onto the surface in search of survivors and resources. However, they encountered mutants and radiation that killed instantly. The mutants destroyed everyone, sparing no one. Recently, they became too bold and attacked openly, killing many good people. Plot
As already mentioned, the plot is based on the events of the novel "Metro 2033." The main action of the story takes place in a fictional world in an abandoned subway. People were forced to move into the subway after a nuclear disaster. On the surface, only radiation and the mutants born from this radiation remain. Recently, humans have begun to be attacked by mutants. The protagonist, Artyom, must find out what this is all about and try to destroy the mutants before they destroy humanity.
Gameplay
A shooter with elements of action and horror in a post-apocalyptic setting. You´ll spend most of the game traveling through various locations, fighting mutants and bandits, and interacting with NPCs. The game features a well-developed story campaign with engaging missions. Stealth mechanics are also implemented.
